Pedal Steel Guitars - Economy Price, yet  Fine Quality!

The Stage One guitar has been in production for over twenty years. About 400 have been sold as of January, 2007. They were formerly produced by Mr. Bruce Zumsteg, the builder of the wonderful ZumSteel professional pedal steels. He did not promote the Stage One model to any degree as he always had plenty of pro models to build and is essentially a one-man operation. I had the privilege of becoming his friend and neighbor and as such spent a great deal of time at his shop, eventually helping out where possible and assembled approximately 75 Stage Ones at his shop. I have recently acquired the right to build the Stage One model as my own business, using the same design, materials, fixturing and processes that have been proven to be reliable and succesful. You may be assured that the finished product is assembled with care, pride, and even a bit of love by me, Doug Earnest.

Here is a shiny black one...Black makes a very nice looking guitar and is quite popular.
